What nearshore staffing costs

Rates start at $13 an hour. Every role below is a flat monthly figure for one dedicated, full-time professional, with no recruitment fee.

A dedicated, full-time bilingual professional from GP Outsourcing costs between $1,200 and $3,200 a month, depending on the role. That is one flat figure per person: it covers recruitment, salary, local payroll taxes, equipment, a supervised workspace and account management, and there is no placement fee on top of it. Rates start at $13 an hour. The equivalent in-house hire in the United States runs roughly $45,000 to $60,000 a year once taxes, benefits and overhead are counted.

Every role, and what it costs

Ten staffed roles. The figure is monthly, per dedicated professional, and it is the same figure printed on each service page.

Bilingual is not a surcharge. Every professional we place works in English and Spanish, so there is no English-only tier to price below it.

What the monthly figure covers

The cost of a staffing arrangement is rarely the headline rate. These are the lines that usually sit outside it, and where they sit here.

Inside the rate

  • Recruitment, screening and the English assessment
  • The professional’s salary and local payroll taxes
  • Equipment, software licences and a redundant internet connection
  • A supervised workspace in the delivery centre
  • Account management, and a replacement inside the guarantee window

Outside it

  • Your own software seats, where a licence is tied to your account
  • Overtime beyond the agreed schedule, which is agreed in advance
  • Third-party tooling you ask us to buy on your behalf

Why an hourly number is the wrong unit

An hourly rate compares well against a freelancer and badly against everything else, because it quietly excludes the expensive parts. Recruiting and screening the person. Replacing them when they leave. Equipment, licences and a connection that does not drop. Payroll taxes. Somebody supervising the work.

Those sit inside the monthly figure above. The comparison that holds is total cost against total cost: roughly $45,000 to $60,000 a year for an in-house administrative hire in the United States, against $14,400 to $18,000 a year for a dedicated bilingual assistant here, both fully loaded.

That is where the 50 to 70 percent figure comes from. It is not a discount on a salary; it is a different cost base.

Cost Questions

The eight things people ask before they ask for a quote.

A dedicated, full-time bilingual virtual assistant is $1,200 to $1,500 a month with us, billed as one flat monthly figure. Across the ten roles we staff the range runs from $1,200 for administrative and data work to $3,200 for senior marketing and accounting roles. There is no recruitment fee and no hourly reconciliation.

Rates start at $13 an hour. We quote monthly rather than hourly because an hourly number invites a comparison that does not hold: it excludes recruitment, equipment, payroll taxes, supervision and cover, all of which are inside our monthly figure and none of which are inside a freelancer's hourly rate.

An equivalent in-house administrative hire in the United States costs roughly $45,000 to $60,000 a year once payroll taxes, benefits, equipment and office space are counted, and a customer service representative $45,000 to $55,000. That is where the 50 to 70 percent reduction comes from. It is a comparison of total cost, not of salary against salary.

No. There is no placement fee, no setup cost and no foreign entity to register. You are invoiced the monthly rate, starting when the professional starts.

No. The rate is per dedicated professional, not per ticket, per call, per record or per transaction. A busy month and a quiet month cost the same, which is the part that makes it possible to budget a year out.

Most positions run on a minimum three-month commitment, so there is time to onboard properly and ramp up. Project work, temporary staffing and trial arrangements are negotiated case by case.

Every placement carries a 30-day replacement guarantee. If a professional resigns, underperforms or is simply not the right fit inside that window, we source, screen and onboard a replacement at no additional cost.

Because every professional we place is bilingual. Some providers price English-only staff lower and add a premium for Spanish; our delivery centre is in Honduras and the whole roster works in both languages, so there is nothing to surcharge.
